Mitchell Lee Osmon, 42, of North Salem, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016.

He was born May 17, 1974 in Terre Haute.

Mitchell is survived by his wife of 17 years, Renee Osmon; his father, Gary Osmon; children Chloe, Jack and Leah Osmon; his favorite cousin, Christopher Osmon; aunts Peggy F. Osmon, Marcia Osmon and Suzanne Soules; two half-brothers, a half-sister, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack C. Osmon and Irene "Nannie" Osmon; uncle Robert J. Osmon; aunt Peggy L. Osmon; and cousin Erin Shook.

Mitchell was a member of Roachdale Christian Church where he played drums for the worship band. He was also a member of The Great Banquet Community.

He was a talented, life-long musician who could play drums, guitar and bass guitar.

He enjoyed working on cars in his spare time. He loved spending time with his children. He would always be on the sidelines at their soccer games, cheering them on.

Mitchell worked at ASCENA in Greencastle as an IT specialist. Prior to that, he was owner/operator of Mix Customs Auto Repair.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 at Roachdale Christian Church with visitation beginning at 3 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roachdale Christian Church for the Osmon children's scholarship fund.
