Burkett - 100th Birthday

Lucile Burkett will celebrate her 100th birthday on Tuesday, Dec. 13.

To celebrate her 100th year, Lucile’s family will gather from Texas, Colorado, San Diego, Portland, Ore., Seattle, New York state, Massachusetts, Virginia, Florida and other far-flung locales.

They will host an open house for all of her friends from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 in the lobby at Asbury Towers.

Lucile’s sister Edith Fry lives in Roachdale. Her brother Dallas lives on the Nichols farm, which has been in the family for well over 100 years. Her other surviving brother, Doyle, lives in Colorado.
