Eagle swimmers split with Mustangs

South Putnam split a pair of swimming meets with Edgewood on Thursday.

The Eagles won the girls’ meet 105-67, while Edgewood won the boys’ meet 107-74.

First place finishes went to both medley relay teams, Alex Fanning (200 IM and 100 Breaststroke), Eric Hinkle (200 IM and 100 Back), Christina Marcum (50 Free), Jenna Carmichael (diving), Masey Chambers (100 Fly), Jake Hutcheson (500 Free) and Jared Seidler (100 Breaststroke).

Times dropped considerably across the board, coach Anna Kendall said.
