All I Want for Christmas

How long has it been since these first-graders could say “Thister Thuzie thittin’ on a thithle?” They can’t tell you for sure, but they’re entirely pleased to share their story, singing “All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth,” during the Holiday in the Meadow show Thursday at Deer Meadow Primary School. The song rings especially true for these half dozen youths, all of whom were actually missing front teeth. Meanwhile, two other first-graders do a dance as the class performs “Sing a Song of Hanukkah.” Music teacher Jill Dombrowksi had a full plate on Thursday, with separate shows for kindergarten, first grade and second grade programs in a matter of three hours.
