Sheriff’s department seeks help locating Cloverdale Liquors armed robbers
CLOVERDALE — Two armed suspects robbed Cloverdale Liquors Wednesday evening, and police are seeking the public’s help in locating the two subjects.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department reports that two armed suspects entered the store at 354 N. Main St. around 8 p.m.
There were two clerks in the store at the time, as one was about to go off shift. The suspects put the two workers on the floor behind the counter, tying up one of them.
They demanded cash from the registered, which was delivered, and they were back out the door.
Det. Sgt. Pat McFadden said few other details are known at this time, although he and fellow Det. Doug Nally are continuing to gather information, including descriptions of the suspects and a possible vehicle and direction of travel.
In light of this, public assistance is requested.
“We’re probably going to need some help,” McFadden said.
Anyone with possible information about the robbery is asked to call Putnam County 911 Dispatch at 765-653-5115.
Detectives were on the scene Thursday morning gathering evidence, including a surveillance video. A still shot from the video will be posted if and when it becomes available.
