Monday, Dec. 12

-- PCPL Book Group, “The Book of Unknown Americans,” 7-8 p.m.

“The Book of Unknown Americans” by Cristina Henrique can be purchased for $9.25. Group will also be holding a book exchange for the holidays where everyone brings a wrapped, used book they enjoyed and that the book group has not read in the past, to exchange with one another.

Tuesday, Dec. 13

-- Community Help Desk, 4-7 p.m.

PCPL has a computer technician available to diagnose and help repair computers and electronics. Most computer problems can be repaired in 20 minutes but if your computer problem is severe enough, or would take longer than 30 minutes to fix, it is recommended you take it to a professional.

-- One Hour of Code, 4-5 p.m.

Explore basics of coding in a fun and interactive way with the help friends from DePauw. Hour of Code is for all ages, but this program is aimed at school-age children.

-- Winter Movie Night, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Movie night at the library will be showing “Happy Feet.” All ages are welcome. The movie is rated PG and the running time is 108 minutes. Snacks provided.

Wednesday, Dec. 14

-- Cooking with Kids, 4-5 p.m.

A simple, kid-friendly snack is prepared each month as group talks about cooking basics, and reads some stories while enjoying the treat. This month will be peanut butter Red-Nosed Reindeer Cookies. Register by calling 653-2755 ext. 121, by emailing (kmullinnix@pcpl21.org), or by filling out the form at the program registration link on PCPL21.org.

Thursday, Dec. 15

-- Community Help Desk, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

-- Toddler Time, 10-10:30 a.m.

Sing songs, hear stories and nursery rhymes and make a craft.

-- Pre-K Prime Time, 11-11:45 a.m.

Hear theme-based stories, make a craft, and have a small snack

-- Bridge for Everyone, 1:30-3 p.m.

Open bridge game in the Kiwanis room. All who enjoy bridge are invited to attend, regardless of skill level. Group will be facilitated by Dorothy Brown. If you have questions, contact Barbara Timm at btimm@PCPL21.org.

-- Yoga, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

PCPL is offering free Yoga sessions on Thursday evenings.

-- Brick Club, 4-5 p.m.

Each month will be a different Lego challenge, from storybook characters to video game characters. Youth ages 4-12 are encouraged to participate in this hands-on program.

Friday, Dec. 16

-- Imagination Portal Unplugged, 9 a.m.-noon

Enjoy the Imagination Portal without monitors, video games or music in the background.
