Food Bank Deposit

Sunday, December 18, 2016
Courtesy photo North Salem State Bank (NSSB) recently staged its seventh annual food drive in an effort to give back to its surrounding communities. The food drive was conducted bank wide, including the Greencastle branch on Warren Drive, as well as the newest Greencastle location on North Jackson Street. All donations generously given by employees and customers and received at the Greencastle locations were presented to New Life Baptist Church Food Pantry. The food drive has been a way to give back to the community since 2010 and the donations have increased every year, making 2016 the biggest year yet. On hand for the recent donation are (front, from left) Charles Crawford, Teresa Muncie, Linda Parker, Shirley Larsen, Lib Hammond, Courtney Dillon-NSSB, Ashley Ahrens-NSSB; (back, from left) William H. Matlock, Gary Montgomery, Rebbeca Compton, Brandon Morphen, Sherri Reagin-NSSB, Amanda Fulwider-NSSB, Vicki Deno-NSSB, Ryan Rash, NSSB, Michael Godwin-NSSB and Megan Murphy-NSSB.

  • On behalf of New Life Baptist we want to thank NSSB for the generous donation. On any given day there are approx. 1800 people in Putnam County that are not meal secure ( per Gleaner's Web site) and every donation to NLB goes directly to people of Putnam County. Thank you NSSB
