Fount Thomas 'Tom' Brock

Fount Thomas "Tom" Brock, 73, of Bainbridge, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016.

Fount was born Aug. 1, 1943 in Danville, Ind., to George and Susie (Lovins) Brock.

He served his country in the United States Army in Germany from Aug. 14, 1961 until July 18, 1964.

He married his beloved wife Nancy Cox on Dec. 12, 1986, together they owned T&N Logging, Brock's Logging, the Dairy Castle and the Monon Grill.

He loved fishing, cutting trees, singing, playing music and traveling to Maui. Above all his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

He was a member of First Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Fount Thomas Brock II, Dustin Brock (Courtney), Angela Green (Greg), Becky Van Den Hoven (Sander) Linda Wittle, Amber Delway (Greg) and Cory Huff; siblings, Marshall Brock (Barbara), Martha Schram (Gene), Mary Farmer and Betty Jane Griffin; grandchildren Fount Samuel Brock, Summer Ward, Kaleigh Brock, Benjamin Brock and Brady Brock.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Elmer, Frank, Johnny and Gene Brock, and Pauline Lones.

The Brock family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22 at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Shumaker Cemetery.
