The Greencastle Fire Department recently responded to one dispatche and one medical run.

• At 5:54 p.m. on Thursday, GFD received reports of a fire alarm at Greencastle High School but found nothing upon arrival. No fire alarm was activated. However, a passerby nevertheless made the good-intent call to GFD after observing flashing lights around the school that resembled a fire alarm. GFD cleared the scene and subsequently returned to station at 6:02 p.m.
