Carole Jean Flynn, 49, passed away at her Greencastle home on Monday, Dec. 26, 2016.

She was born Jan. 24, 1967 in Danville, Ind., and was a "Miracle Baby" at only two pounds.

She had resided in Greencastle for the past 25 years and during that time Carole has been involved with the Putnam County Comprehensive Services Community (CSC). She was a very hard worker, and held the honor of being the first client in the CSC to purchase her own home for which she was very proud.

Carole enjoyed spending time with family and friends, including swimming and picnicking with her nephew Anthony Thompson, niece Laura Thompson and their three children, Ayden Irvin, Elijah and Tessa.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Syble Flynn and John Flynn of Plainfield; brother J. Douglas Cullings of Crawfordsville; and James W. "Grandpa" Cullings of Crawfordsville.

She is survived by her sisters, Lynn (David) Thompson of Bossier City, La., and Casey McFann of Solomon's, Md., four nieces and three nephews.

The family is deeply grateful for all the care and concern given by the CSC. Among those were Britney Duncan, Lori Query, Tammy York and especially Jacque Higgenbotham.

Graveside services were conducted by Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, at Maple Hill Cemetery at 10 a.m. Dec. 30 with Pastor Jon Lilly officiating.
