Learn to knit class set at county library

Jo MacPhail and Susannah Hardesty are offering a free 12-week learn to knit course at the Putnam County Public Library, 103 E. Poplar St., Greencastle.

The course is for persons age 12 through adult, and accommodates both lefthanded or righthanded persons.

Students will need to purchase and bring No. 8 or No. 9 knitting needles to the first class. Later in the course students will need to purchase yarn for their final project.

Yarn for the first part of the course is provided by MacPhail and the Friends of the Library.

Classes will be held every Tuesday from 6-7:30 p.m. beginning Feb. 7 through April 25.

Enrollment is limited to 10 and registration is encouraged to guarantee a spot. Register either in person at the circulation desk, or by calling 653-2755 x100.
