Tiger Shark boys continue winning ways

DANVILLE — Greencastle continued its successful ways in swimming on Monday night, winning a triangular meet over North Montgomery and Danville.

The Tiger Cubs defeated the Chargers 95-88, and had an easier time with Danville in a 113-72 win.

“After the excitement of last weekend, it was great to cap off our regular season with a pair of wins,” Greencastle coach Kent Menzel said. “The boys were very focused for this meet. Their experience at the WIC meet has really got them thinking about the sectional championship coming up later in the season.”

Menzel thought his relays were strong in the meet.

“ I was particularly impressed by the performance of senior Cameron Lewis, who won the 50 free and was a key to those relay wins as well,” he said.
