County schools recognize students as ‘Rising Stars’

As part of the Indiana Association of School Principals’ (IASP) Rising Stars of Indiana program, the Greencastle, Cloverdale, North Putnam and South Putnam school districts have recognized three to four juniors for their academic achievements.

“Please join IASP in congratulating these students on all they have already achieved, as well as offering support and encouragement as they continue their accomplishments and expand their knowledge, growth and leadership skills well into the future,” the IASP release reads.

The Rising Stars class of 2017, consisting of students arising from the class of 2018, includes four Tiger Cubs, four Clovers, four Cougars and three Eagles.

They are: Greencastle’s Ben Gellman, Esther Hale, Sean Ramey and Rose White; Cloverdale’s Lisa Hess, Trinity Rairdon, James Tate and Abigail Walker; North Putnam’s Emily Eltz, Lillian Rambis, Abigail Spencer and Chevelle Tallman; and South Putnam’s Addison Blaydes, Alexandria Fanning and Rachel Jones.
