Jessica Gurchiek, of Brazil, was lodged in the Putnam County Jail, charged with theft and criminal trespassing following an alleged shoplifting incident.

Arrested at 7:52 p.m. by Officer Brad Hiatt, Gurchiek reportedly took $67.17 worth of merchandise, including shampoo, body wash, Chapstick, razors, batteries and deodorant, all concealed in a bag. She also reportedly rolled up a T-shirt and stuck it in her jacket pocket, Hiatt reported.
