Boys

Sullivan (9-6) at Cloverdale (14-5)

Game time: 7:30 p.m. varsity tipoff for fifth place in the Westen Indiana Conference

So far: The Arrows lost their first three games of the season, but have won nine of 12 since. The Clovers lost four of their first six games, but have won 12 of 13 since.

History: The only recent meeting between the teams came in 2003 in the PIzza Hut Wabash Valley Classic, when Sullivan won by an 81-60 score.

Scouting report: Junior guard Ty Drake leads the Arrows in scoring at 14.0 points per game, while senior Evan Conner (10.2) and Trey Powell (9.7) are other top scorers.

Cooper Neese is third in the state in scoring at 28.6 points per game, while Jalen Moore is eighth at 24.8.

Greencastle (4-9) at Brown County (3-10)

Game time: 7:30 p.m. varsity tipoff for 11th place

So far: The Tiger Cubs lost their first seven games, but have gone 4-2 since that time. The Eagles lost six of their first seven games. They have wins over Eastern Greene, Daleville and North Putnam.

History: The teams played twice last year, with Brown County winning 74-67 in overtime in the crossover game and 83-54 a week later.

Scouting report: Colin York paces the Tiger Cubs with 18.0 points per game, while Nick Costin adds 8.5 per game. Brown County is led by 6-10 center Josh Cochran.

North Putnam (5-10) at Owen Valley (4-11)

Game time: 7:30 p.m. varsity tipoff for ninth place

So far: The Cougars started the season 1-5 and have gone 4-5 since then. Owen Valley lost its first four games under new coach Roger Fleetwood and has gone 4-7 since then. The Patriots have wins over Brown County, Mooresville, Rockville and Eminence.

History: Owen Valley has won the last seven meetings between the teams, including a 43-31 victory at North Putnam last year.

Scouting report: Elliot Gross and Preston Porter are the leading scorers for the Cougars. Senior MIchael Light leads OV in scoring nwith 15.9 points per game, while senior Ryne Heckman averages 9.3.

South Putnam (3-10) at Cascade (9-6)

Game time: 7:30 p.m. varsity tipoff for seventh place

So far: The Eagles started the season 3-2 and have lost eight straight. Cascade has lost three of its last five games since starting the season 7-3.

History: The teams met on Jan. 17 at South Putnam, with Cascade winning 58-53.

Scouting report: Sophomores Allen Plunkett, Thomas Fanning and Dalton Scott are the leading scorers for the Eagles. Evan Burch leads Cascade in scoring at 16.2 points per game, while Dalton DuBois averages 16.7 points and 10.2 rebounds and Alec Alderson averages 10.4 points.

Saturday

South Putnam vs. Bloomington Lighthouse (2-15)

Game time: 11:30 a.m. varsity tipoff at the Hoosier Gym in Knightstown

So far: Bloomington Lighthouse has victories over Martinsville Tabernacle and Madison Christian.

History: South Putnam has won the three previous meetings between the teams, including a 42-40 home victory last season.

Tri-West (12-3) at Greencastle

Game time: 7:30 p.m. varsity tipoff

So far: The Bruins have won their last two games after a two-game losing streak. They won the Hendricks County Tournament earlier this month, and host Danville tonight.

History: Greencastle won 75-73 at McAnally Center last year to snap a seven-game losing streak.

Scouting report: Tyler Watson, a 6-foot junior guard, leads the Bruins in scoring at 17.0 while Indiana University football commit Peyton Hendershot adds 12.1.
