-- Travel Talks: Ghost Ranch, New Mexico, 6-7 p.m.

Hear, learn and see Ghost Ranch through the eyes of DePauw students returning from a three-week term on the ranch. Students will discuss their immersive experience in canyon country that included courses in Pueblo style beadwork; Rocks, Ruins, and Bones; Desert Light digital photography; and Writing the Southwest. Wednesday, Feb. 1

Need crochet help or crochet companionship? Jo MacPhail will take her Yarn Perch (on the balcony above the lobby) every Wednesday evening to help those in need.

-- Time Travelers Genealogy Guild, 6-7 p.m.

In order to find out where the property that was purchased by our Putnam Patentee forebears is located, we need to understand the grid system and the lingo. In this session the group will learn how to do just that, as well as locate the township and actual property on the county map.

-- Appearance by local author Doug Bedwell, 6-7 p.m.

Bedwell will discuss his creative process and the challenges of making the shift from writing drama to writing narrative fiction. He will read an excerpt from his new novel and take questions from the audience. After the presentation, there will be a book-signing session, where copies of “Robot Captain,” and of Bedwell’s collected plays will be available for purchase.

Thursday, Feb. 2

-- Toddler Time, 10-10:30 a.m.

Songs, stories and nursery rhymes.

-- Pre-K Prime Time, 11-11:45 a.m.

Hear theme-based stories, sing action songs, make a craft, and have a small snack.

-- Bridge for Everyone, 1:30-3 p.m.

An open bridge game Thursday afternoons in the Kiwanis room. All who enjoy bridge are invited, regardless of skill level. This group will be facilitated by Dorothy Brown. If you have questions, contact Barbara Timm at btimm@PCPL21.org.

-- LibrarYoga, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

PCPL is offering free Yoga sessions led by certified yoga instructors every Thursday. Classes are for all levels of students. Participants should wear comfy, stretchy clothes. Yoga mats, blocks, and straps available for your use.
