Monday, Feb. 13

-- Imagination Portal Unplugged, 9 a.m.-noon.

Enjoy the Imagination Portal without monitors, video games or music in the background.

-- Community Help Desk, 2-4 p.m.

PCPL has a computer technician available to diagnose and help repair computers and electronics. Most problems can be repaired in 20 minutes but if computer problem is severe enough, or would take longer than 30 minutes to fix, it is recommended you take it to a professional.

-- PCPL Book Group, 7-8 p.m.

Group will be reading “My Name is Lucy Barton” by Elizabeth Strout for the February meeting. The library has copies of the book available for check out and for sale at the reference desk. Refreshments will be provided. For more information, contact Sarah Myers at smyers@pcpl21.org.

Tuesday, Feb. 14

--- Travel Talk: Iceland, 11:30 a.m-12:30 p.m.

Library’s 2017 Travel Talks Series continues with a virtual visit to Iceland. Join local photographer Lynne Tweedie and local singer/songwriter Chris Wurster as they recall their recent trip to the Nordic isle. Sack lunches welcome.

Explore basics of coding in a fun and interactive way. Program aimed at school-age children.

-- Learn to Knit, 6-7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

-- Yarn Perch, 5-8 p.m.

Need crochet help or crochet companionship? Jo MacPhail takes her Yarn Perch (on balcony above the lobby) every Wednesday evening to help those in need.

-- Book and a Movie, 6-8 p.m.

The first meeting of the PCPL Book and a Movie group will be in the Kiwanis Room. Following the 2016 movie (1 hour, 50 minutes), group will be discussing Jojo Moyes novel “Me Before You.” Copies of the book are available for checkout and for purchase at the reference desk. -- Stuffed Animal Sleepover, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Drop off your stuffed animal for a fun overnight adventure. While here, read your friend a bedtime story and do some crafts. Come back the next morning at 10:30 for a light breakfast, slide show of their sleepover adventures, and to pick up your friend.

-- Bridge for Everyone, 1:30-3 p.m.

All who enjoy bridge are invited to attend open bridge game in Kwanis Room, regardless of skill level. Group facilitated by Dorothy Brown. For questions, contact Barbara Timm at btimm@PCPL21.org.

-- Brick Club, 4-5:30 p.m.

Let your creative side go wild with Lego challenges. Youth ages 4-12 urged to participate in hands-on program.

-- LibrarYoga, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

PCPL offers free yoga sessions led by certified yoga instructors every Thursday evening. Classes are for all levels of students. Participants should wear comfy, stretchy clothes. Yoga mats, blocks and straps available.
