Body in Sugar Creek identified

CRAWFORDSVILLE -- The body found Saturday in Sugar Creek in Montgomery County has been positively identified as missing teenager Kaden Cravens, 19, of Crawfordsville, Indiana State Police at Lafayette have announced.

Cravens had been reported missing to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department and was the subject of a Silver Alert on Jan. 26.

At approximately 6:25 p.m. Saturday some local kayakers came across a body submerged in Sugar Creek near CR 225 West, approximately a quarter-mile north of Country Club Road.

With assistance from the Department of Natural Resources, the body was removed from the water. No foul play is suspected.
