Center for Women’s Ministries sets Purse Auction fundraiser

The Putnam County Center for Women’s Ministries invites the public to a Purse and Silent Auction on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 1-3 p.m. at Greencastle Christian Church, 620 Primrose Lane.

Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. to view the purses and silent auction items on display. Admission to the event is $5.

The event includes light refreshments, music entertainment by Greencastle’s Bobbie Lancaster and a fun time of auctioning purses by Putnam County auctioneer Jeff Rich.

Several beautiful, filled purses and many wonderful silent auction items will be available.

The event is open to the public and is an effort to raise funds to support the services and programs offered by the Putnam County Center for Women’s Ministries, located in Cloverdale.

The Center for Women’s Ministries Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization which has been serving women for more than 25 years. There are now 29 centers operating nationally and seven international sites.

Services include support groups, Bible studies and free peer counseling to women ages 13 and up.

The Putnam County Center has been in operation for more than 15 years serving the surrounding communities.
