Tumbling Down

Banner Graphic/ERIC BERNSEE A victim of weather and 40 years of wear and tear, the Bob Flanigan Bandshell comes down Monday afternoon at Greencastle’s Robe-Ann Park with Brian Hathaway at the controls of the equipment for a crew from Joe Spiker Excavating, Greencastle. A recent inspection deemed the bandshell and its concrete pad unsafe and prompted the demolition. Rebuilding plans have not been finalized by the City Park Department.
