It’s Tri-Kappa Week
Surrounded by members of the Beta Psi chapter of Tri-Kappa sorority in Greencastle, Mayor Bill Dory signs a proclamation designating Feb. 19-25 as Tri-Kappa Week. Tri-Kappa’s unselfish efforts to bring women together for the promotion of charity, culture and education in the community were cited by the mayor, who designated Tri-Kappa Week in recognition of the organization’s “selfless work and dedication to make a difference in the lives of Hoosiers.” The local chapter was founded in 1921.
