Operating out of their own nifty booth at the entrance to Kroger, Girl Scouts from Greencastle Troop 3618, new this year, peddle boxes of Girl Scout cookies Saturday as Katherine and Phil Asbell purchase a box of Thin Mints from moms Brittany Overshiner and Erin Creviston. Meanwhile, their daughters (from left with sign) Danica Overshiner and Makenzie Creviston, both 8, try to drum up cookie business as shoppers enter the store. Scouts will be on hand through March 13 at Kroger and will also have a booth at Putnam Inn. Girl Scout cookies are $4 per box. Those who miss out on the booth sales can call 720-9226 to order cookies.
