Girl Scouts seek donations for Exotic Feline Center

As a Girl Scouts service project, Troops 3700 and 1734 will be collecting items for the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Centerpoint on Saturday, March 11.

Needed items included straw for bedding, plywood, non-clumping kitty litter, bleach, rubber totes and office supplies. Monetary donations are also accepted.

Given the dietary needs of these large, hungry cats, supporters are also encouraged to clean out their freezers to get ready for spring. Accepted meats include chicken, pork, beef and veal, but no seasoned or ground meat.

Drop-off locations for the 9 a.m.-noon event include Fillmore Elementary School, South Putnam High School and Greencastle High School.
