Organizational meeting for 2017 Farmers' Market season set Thursday

Monday, March 6, 2017

The Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will be managing the Greencastle Farmers' Market in 2017.

"The market has become a great part of our community and we are proud to be a part of it," Chamber Executive Director Brian Cox said. "The market is a great place to buy and sell locally produced items while taking a little time to visit with your neighbors."

The market will continue in its ninth year on Saturday mornings on the courthouse square.

"The Chamber and the community would like to say thank you to the Friends of the Farmers' Market for all the work they have done for the last eight years," Cox said.

New and returning vendors are invited to attend a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 9 at the Chamber of Commerce office, 2 S. Jackson St., Greencastle.

Anyone who has questions may contact the Chamber director at Briancox@gogreencastle.com.
