Wonderful World of Disney

Banner Graphic/ERIC BERNSEE In celebration of the recent Walt Disney release of the live-action movie version of “Beauty and the Beast,” local youngsters were invited to come to the Putnam County Public Library Tuesday afternoon dressed as their favorite Disney characters. Among the characters of choice participating are Snow White (five-year-old Lyra Manchester, below) and Princess Anna from “Frozen” (five-year-old Kirin McKinney). During the craft portion of the program, Lyra attaches individual petals to make a paper rose, while Kirin gets a little help from PCPL Youth Services Manager Krista Mullinnix in making a bracelet at the princess jewelry table. About a dozen children took part in the free library program.
