7,000 eggs up for grabs at Robe-Ann Park hunt April 8

An estimated 7,000 plastic eggs, filled with candy, goodies or coupons, will be up for grabs Saturday, April 8 during the annual Greencastle Park and Recreation Department Easter Egg Hunt.

The free event for youngsters age 1-11 will begin promptly at 10 a.m. at Robe-Ann Park.

Hunts will be conducted in age groups.

Egg hunters also may find special redemption tickets inside their eggs for prizes that could even include a new bicycle donated by Headley Hardware.

This year’s sponsors include McDonald’s, Headley Hardware, Pizza King, Burger King, Wendy’s, Long John Silver’s, Walmart, Monical’s Pizza, Kroger, Dollar General, WREB and Friends of the Park.
