John J. Falkner

John J. Falkner, 49, of Fults, Ill., died Friday, March 31, 2017 in St. Louis.

He was born Sept. 10, 1967 in Red Bud, Ill.

He is survived by his wife, Karen A. Falkner (nee Myers), and was the father of Jade Falkner and Max Falkner; son of Ronald T. (Cindy) Falkner and Barbara Esker (Henry); brother of Stephine LeBline (Bridgette) and Joshua (Angie) Bollinger; half-sisters, half-brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins.

John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Geraldine Davis and John and Ruby Falkner, and uncle Ronald Davis.

He played in rock and roll bands across the country and was a member of Hope Christian Church in Columbia, Ill.

As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to Family Wishes.

Funeral arrangements are pending and have been entrusted to Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo, Ill.
