Esther Doan, 78, Roachdale, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 in Brownsburg Health Care Center.
She was born Feb. 4, 1939 in Barnard, the daughter of the late Clarence and Edith (Blacketer) Booker.
She was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star.
Esther is survived by her husband, Robert Doan, son Lee Allen (Rachel) Doan of Louisville, daughter Dawn Michelle (Jon) Ellis of New Market and grandchildren Brittany Nicole Doan, Morgan Ellis and Rebecca Ellis.
She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 6 at the Roachdale Cemetery.
