No developments in Thursday shooting

Sheriff’s department detectives continue to investigate a Thursday shooting in Floyd Township.

As of Sunday evening, the only publicly-released information in the shooting is that a female victim was shot in the abdomen outside the home at 7207 N. CR 600 East, Bainbridge.

Before being airlifted to Indianapolis, the woman told authorities she was shot by a white male with a beard who fled the scene in a white passenger car.

Authorities have made no arrests in the case and an in-depth interview of the victim will not occur until early this week, a Putnam County Sheriff’s Department representative told the Banner Graphic.

The scene of the shooting is a small modular home just north of U.S. 36 on the east side of the road.
