Using the Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce ceremonial scissors, Dr. Elena Castello symbolically cuts the ribbon to open the Holisitic Health and Colonics Center, located at 6581 S. CR 250 East (first road east of South Putnam High School off U.S. 40). Also participating in the ceremony are (from left) Chamber Executive Director Brian Cox, Chamber members David Zeiner, Alyssa Atwell, Nancy Michael and Tonya Sanders, Castello’s daughter Stephany Zhivotosky, Castello, Castello’s mother Anna Kolmakova, Jinsie Bingham, Chamber President Amy Trusty and Chamber director Laurie Hardwick. Holstic Health is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with hours by appointment. Beside colon hydrotherapy, the center also has an infrared sauna, an aqua chi detox foot bath and the Chi Vitalizer, three machines that help release built-up toxins and waste in the body, as well as relieving back pain, helping lose weight and improving metabolism, Castello said. With a passion and knowledge for natural healing, Castello has more than 17 years experience with homeopathic medicine and is a certified colon hydrotherapist. “My sincere desire is to inspire people to live a healthy lifestyle by making right diet choices, exercising and balancing a busy life,” she said. “Love yourself and your body. Live and eat healthy.”
