Riding carts and Frosty Paws concerns

Thursday, April 27, 2017

To the Editor:

Recently we were shopping at the local Walmart store. For a very long time they have only a few riding carts for those needing them.

We’re talking as low as four or five carts in use. Many have waited a half-hour or more. I thought this was a huge problem for those needing them.

Then there are those people who get a cart (riding) and go into Subway for a half-hour when someone else needs it.

Yes, Greencastle has selfish people like all other towns. It needs corrected.

Now, on to another issue we saw that outweighs the above.

While we were shopping we came upon a health issue that needs corrected.

At the east end of the ice cream case they have Frosty Paws dog ice cream by Purina. This should never be in with food for humans. It should be in its own freezer in the pet aisle.

There are elderly people with poor eyesight and do not catch on, but see the cute advertising and may consume such products. This could be a health hazard for them.

If it was meant as a joke, then someone has a big problem.
