Virgel P. Daniels

Virgel P. Daniels, 71, passed away early Friday morning, April 28, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness.

Virgel was born in Celina, Tenn., the son of Carvel and Irene (Grogan) Daniels, and attended Celina, Tenn., schools.

Mr. Daniels owned and operated Virgel's Garage for many years.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Carolyn M Daniels; two sons, Virgel Rodriguez (Dan Rodriguez) and Gary Wayne Daniels; a sister, Anne Swan (Joe); two grandsons, Jesse Alan Daniels and James Paul Daniels; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joe and Robert Daniels; a sister, Dollie Desanti; and his first cousin, James Daniels.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 3 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
