County Jail

One person was booked in the Putnam County Jail on Thursday.

• At 12:40 a.m. Daniel Neal Bates, 38, Athens, Ala., was lodged at the jail for reckless driving, driving under the influence with a prior conviction, driving while intoxicated with endangerment and driving with a BAC of .15 or higher.

City Police

Four recent citations were issued by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 1:49 a.m. Thursday, Tonja Norris, 48, Cloverdale, was issued a summons by Officer Brad Hiatt.

Stopped on Indianapolis Road, Norris was cited for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.

• At 10:59 p.m. Wednesday, Tiffany Hortonberry, 35, Pekin, Ind., was ticketed for speeding by Reserve Officer Billy Wallace.

Stopped on Fillmore Road, Hortonberry was cited for 53 mph in a 30-mph zone.

• At 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, Courtland Harris, 21, Greencastle, was issued a summons by Officer Alec Pettit.

Stopped on Judson Drive, Harris was cited for an infraction of driving with a suspended license.

• At 10:42 p.m. Monday, Nicholas Bennett, 26, Greencastle, was issued a summons by Officer Elsiana Crosby.

Stopped at West Walnut and South Jackson streets Bennett was cited for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.
