Cummins appoints new CEO

AVON -- The board of directors of Cummins Behavioral Health Systems has announced the selection of Amy Mace to succeed President and CEO Ann Borders, who will be retiring on July 31.

Mace, who has served as Cummins’ chief financial officer for 25 years, is a certified public accountant and holds a master’s degree in business administration/health management.

“We are very confident in Amy’s ability to lead Cummins and remain focused on our mission to serve our consumers,” Board Chairman Pete Lynch said.

Based in Avon, Cummins is a community mental health center with offices in Putnam, Hendricks, Boone, Marion and Montgomery counties. It also provides co-located school-based services in more than 150 schools throughout the region.

Cummins employs 382 staff members and serves approximately 9,000 individuals each year.
