Monday, May 8

-- Imagination Portal Unplugged, 9 a.m.-noon.

Enjoy the Imagination Portal without monitors, video games or music in the background.

-- Community Help Desk, 2-4 p.m.

PCPL has a computer technician available to diagnose and help repair computers and electronics. Most computer problems can be repaired in 20 minutes but if your computer problem is severe enough, or would take longer than 30 minutes to fix, it is recommended you take it to a professional.

-- PCPL Book Group, 7-8 p.m.

The PCPL Book Club will be reading “Circling the Sun” by Paula McClain for the May meeting. The library has copies of the book available to check out and for sale at the reference desk. Refreshments will be provided. For more information, contact Sarah Myers at smyers@pcpl21.org.

Tuesday, May 9

-- Music Makers, 11 a.m.-noon

Every month on the second Tuesday, sing, dance and explore with percussion instruments. Babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children are welcome.

-- Learn to Play Mah Jongg, 6-8 p.m.

Join local Mah Jongg expert Janice White every Tuesday evening for a seven-week course to learn the game of Mah Jongg. No experience necessary. Classes run through June 13. Space is limited, so register by calling 653-2755 or by emailing Barb Timm at btimm@PCPL21.org.

Wednesday, May 10

Cooking with Kids, 4-5 p.m.

Each month a simple, kid-friendly snack is prepare as group talks about cooking basics, and reads stories while enjoying a treat. This month will be Nutella rolls. Space is limited, so register by calling 653-2755 ext. 121, by emailing (kmullinnix@pcpl21.org), or by filling out a registration at www.PCPL21.org.

Yarn Perch, 5-8 p.m.

Need crochet help or crochet companionship? Jo MacPhail will take her Yarn Perch (on the balcony above the lobby) every Wednesday evening to help those in need.

-- Family Dance Party, 11-11:30 a.m.

Free dance, guided dance and musical games for ages 2 and up.

-- Bridge for Everyone, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

All who enjoy bridge are invited to attend, regardless of skill level. Group facilitated by Dorothy Brown. If you have questions, contact Barbara Timm at btimm@PCPL21.org.

-- LibrarYoga, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

PCPL is offering free yoga sessions led by certified instructors every Thursday evening. Classes are for all levels of students. Yoga mats, blocks and straps are available for use.
