The 2017 ParkFest summer concert series, conducted by the Greencastle Civic League, is just around the corner.

Although the bandshell at Robe-Ann Park has been taken down, organizers emphasize that the show will go for the 23rd season of ParkFest.

This season of free, family-friendly entertainment will take place at Robe-Ann Park on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. from May 30 through July 25.

The public is invited out for music, food and fun.

While enjoying this season’s concerts, organizers look forward to the construction of a new bandshell as well as other enhancements to enrich the experience of concert-goers in the future.

This year’s concerts will be held at Shelterhouse No. 1, reversing the normal ParkFest venue and placing the performers uphill from the audience.

Keep an eye out in the Banner Graphic for weekly announcements about the lineup of musical guests.

  • Seems like there has been plenty of time to get a new bandshell put up.
