Braving a damp, cool morning at the first 2017 installment of the downtown Greencastle Farmers Market, Gary Hull purchases fresh kale from Sandy Masten last Saturday morning. Opening their produce stand at the market for the first time in 2017, Masten and father William Boyette were among about a dozen vendors who withstood an early-morning shower for what turned out to be a nice morning on the courthouse square. The market, and the hope of more favorable weather, will return Saturday morning from 8 a.m.-noon.
