Monday, May 15

-- Imagination Portal Unplugged, 9 a.m.-noon.

Enjoy the Imagination Portal without monitors, video games or music in the background.

-- Community Help Desk, 2-4 p.m.

PCPL has a technician available to diagnose and help repair computers and electronics. Most problems can be repaired in 20 minutes but if your computer problem is severe enough, or would take longer than 30 minutes to fix, it is recommended you take it to a professional.

-- Travel Talk: India, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Take a virtual trip to Hyderabad, India, and about cultural differences, as well as the food and sights of an interesting city.

Tuesday, May 16

-- Yoga Storytime, 11-11:45 a.m.

Caregivers and children age 3-10 are welcome to hear stories accompanied by playful and gentle yoga stretches. No previous practice needed. Bring your own mat or use one provided.

-- Managing Your Digital Photos, noon-2 p.m.

Session will discuss the basics of importing digital photographs from camera or phone to your computer, give tips on organizing large numbers of photos, creative ways of managing photos across different devices like phones, tablets and cameras, and demonstrate basic photo editing techniques.

-- Community Help Desk, 4-7 p.m.

-- Community Movie Night, 5:30-7 p.m.

This month’s offering will be an animated movie about an inventive ant that gets his colony in a heap of trouble. All ages are welcome. The movie is rated G and the running time is 95 minutes. Snacks will be provided.

-- Based on the Book Movie Night, 6 p.m.

Program will be held in the Kiwanis Room. Following presentation of the 2014 movie (running time: 1 hour and 41 minutes) group will discuss Lisa Genova’s novel “Still Alice.” Copies of the book are available for checkout and for purchase at the reference desk.

-- Learn to Play Mah Jongg, 6-8 p.m.

Join local expert, Janice White, every Tuesday evening for a seven-week course to learn the game of Mah Jongg. No experience necessary. Classes run through June 13. Space is limited, so register by calling the library at 653-2755 or by emailing Barb Timm at btimm@PCPL21.org.

Wednesday, May 17

-- Yarn Perch, 5-8 p.m.

Need crochet help or crochet companionship? Jo MacPhail will take her Yarn Perch (on the balcony above the lobby) every Wednesday evening to help those in need.

Thursday, May 18

-- Community Help Desk, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

-- Bridge for Everyone, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

-- Brick Club, 4-5:30 p.m.

Build creations using lego bricks. Your masterpiece will be displayed in the library.

-- LibrarYoga, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

PCPL is offering free Yoga sessions led by certified yoga instructors every Thursday evening. Classes are for all levels of students. Yoga mats, blocks and straps are available for use.
