Larry Kent Foulke, 69, of Greencastle, passed away at home, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 following a two-year battle with cancer.

He was born March 9, 1948 in Clay County, the son of Windell and M. Virginia (Lowdermilk) Foulke.

He graduated from Brazil High School in 1966.

Larry worked for Allison's Transmission in Speedway. He retired in 2004 after 38 years of service to the company.

Larry married Judith Kay Aker on Aug. 6, 1976.

Larry was a member at the First Baptist Church in Brazil.

In his free time he enjoyed collecting model trains, listening and playing music and spending time with his pets and family.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Windell Foulke, and his mother, M. Virginia Foulke.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Kay Foulke of Greencastle; four children, Steve Foulke of Brazil, Tresa Botzum and husband Doug of Greencastle, Tara Foulke of Brazil, and Jeremy Foulke and wife Sarah of Speedway; grandchildren Josh Foulke (Linley) of Reelsville, Jeffrey Foulke of Brazil, Samantha Foulke of Terre Haute, Brianne Botzum of Nashville, Tenn., Brittan Botzum of Greencastle, Blake Botzum of Greencastle and Grayson Foulke of Speedway; and a stepmother, Madonna Foulke of Greencastle.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave., Brazil, from 3-6 p.m. Friday, May 19. Services will follow at the funeral home at 6 p.m. with Pastor Mark Thompson officiating.
