Mayors program participants earn praise

To the Editor:

I write to offer public thanks to former Greencastle mayors Mike Harmless, Nancy Michael and Sue Murray, and current mayor Bill Dory for their recent participation in an event that I was privileged to moderate -- “Four Mayors: Firsthand reflections on three decades of governing Greencastle.”

I also commend Eric Bernsee for his instructive and lengthy story on the event that appeared on the front page of the BannerGraphic on May 10: “Mayors reflect on 30 years at city helm.”

For those who are interested in what the four mayors had to say (but were unable to attend the event in person), the two-hour event is being aired on local cable access TV channel 3 at the following times through May 21: Monday through Friday at 6 and at 10 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays: 4 and 6 p.m.
