Arts Council event set for First Friday

The Greencastle Arts Council is planning its third annual meeting for the First Friday in June.

The celebration of local arts will be held at Grounded Coffee Shop on the east side of the Square from 5-7 p.m. on June 2.

In addition to an exhibit of works by local artists, the event will include jazz by pianist Claude Cymerman, cash bar and refreshments, including specialties from Completely Nuts & Candy Co.

The Council will also introduce its updated website, www.GreencastleArtsCounil.com, and demonstrate how artists can join the artists registry.
