Author Rosemary Gard to visit PCPL June 5

Tuesday, May 30, 2017

Hoosier author Rosemary Gard will visit Putnam County Public Library on Monday, June 5 for a noon brown-bag lunch talk.

Gard, who resides in Crown Point, writes works of fiction based in history. Her books, which include the “Destiny” series, feature richly drawn fictional characters, created upon a canvas of historical fact.

Library guests are welcome to bring their lunch to listen to her presentation and see her display of family heirlooms that include a personal dowry of handmade Croatian artifacts, including a hand-embroidered dress featured on the cover of her book, “Destiny’s Dowry.”

She will also bring a wicker trunk, brought over from Europe in 1906, shown on the cover of her third book, “Destiny’s Dance.”
