Retired teachers present scholarship to Emly Clark Bell

The Putnam County Retired Teachers Association has awarded the 2017 Putnam County Retired Teachers Scholarship to Emily Clark Bell.

The scholarship is annually awarded to an individual who graduated from a Putnam County high school and is enrolled in an Indiana college or university undergraduate program that will result in a degree in education.

Bell, a 2014 graduate of South Putnam High School, attends Indiana State University where she is pursuing a degree in elementary education with certifications in reading and special education.

She will be student teaching at Tzouanakis Elementary School in Greencastle in the 2017 fall semester .

The Putnam County Retired Teachers Association is open to all retired teachers, guidance counselors and administrators.
