Registration ends Thursday for Police Boot Camp

Youngsters in grades 6-8 will be given the opportunity to learn what police training is like in the annual Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department Police Boot Camp.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon June 12-16 at Robe-Ann Park in Greencastle.

Participants will be included in K9 and SWAT drills, see rescue dive demonstrations and more. Team-building exercises, physical fitness training, marching and flag ceremonies will be included in the program.

Pre-registration is required and costs $10 per person. Registration deadline is Thursday, June 8.

Forms can be found at Greencastle City Hall or the park office.

All participants will receive a uniform T-shirt and shorts. Snacks and drinks will be included.
