Flag Day ceremony at Legion Wednesday

Greencastle American Legion Post 58 will celebrate Flag Day with a variety of activities on Wednesday, June 14 at the post.

The Legion and VFW Honor Guard will conduct a 21-gun salute and a Flag Day flag-burning ceremony will be conducted at 6 p.m. at the burn pit outside the Legion Post main entrance at 1401 E. Indianapolis Rd.

Police, fire and ambulance service representatives also have been invited to attend. Military personnel and anyone else who comes in uniform will receive a free dinner Wednesday night, Legion officials said.
