Bainbridge alumni banquet June 24

BAINBRIDGE -- The 103rd annual Bainbridge High School (BHS) Alumni Association banquet is set for Saturday, June 24 in the Bainbridge Community Building.

The welcome hour will begin at 5 p.m. with the buffet dinner following at 6:30.

The program will be highlighted by the recognition of the third annual Bainbridge High School Alumni scholarship winner and entertainment by local musicians. Lyndi Parent, a recent North Putnam High School graduate and daughter of Doug and Staci Parent, won the scholarship.

Entertainment will be by the Covered Bridge Harmony chorus.

Classes to be honored this year at the banquet include: 1942 (75 years since graduation), 1947 (70 years since graduation), 1957 (60 years since graduation) and 1967 (50 years since graduation.)

Class speakers scheduled to make responses include: Doris Keck O’Hair of Pittsboro for the 1947 class and Linda Games Stark of Crawfordsville for the 1957 class. Carolyn Smith Webber of Dallas, Texas, will speak for the 50-year class of 1967.

All alumni are welcome to bring guests, and anyone who attended BHS or has an interest in the school is welcome to attend.

Other officers of the Bainbridge High School Alumni Association this year include Sharon Branham Deeter of Danville, president; Roger Riggen of Bainbridge, vice president, and Alan Ader of Rockville, corresponding secretary.
