Dakota Michael Evans, 20, Greencastle, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017.
Dakota was born Nov. 22, 1996 in Greencastle.
He graduated with honors from Cloverdale High School in 2015. He was employed by Ascena, where he served in the warehouse.
Dakota was preceded in death by his father, Michael Evans.
He is survived by his loving mother, Melissa "Missy" Coffey, and her fiancé', Scott Stewart; brothers, Samuel Wade Evans and Bobby Coffey; sister, Porscha Evans; paternal grandparents, Carl and Ludy Evans; maternal grandparents, Mark and Margaret Montgomery; his beloved golden retriever, Baron; and many other loving family members and close friends.
Dakota's family will receive friends Wednesday, June 21 from 1-3 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 E. Hanna Ave. in Indianapolis.
