Alexis 'Lexi' Renee Daniels

Alexis "Lexi" Renee Daniels, 20, of Greencastle, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

She was born July 31, 1996 and is the daughter of Robert Daniels Jr. and Darlene K. Lucas.

Lexi was a 2014 graduate of South Putnam High School, and was employed by Chiyoda USA, where she loved her job as a fork truck driver.

While in high school she was a member of the 4-H Horse and Pony Club and Bainbridge Saddle Club.

Lexi was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest. She loved all animals, but her favorite was her adored dog Paris.

She is survived by her father, Robert Daniels; her mother, Darlene Lucas and Nathan Bousman; younger brother Brandon Daniels; sister Nicole (Andrew) Waters; niece Harper Waters; nephew Lincoln Waters; maternal grandmother Geneva Lucas; paternal grandmother Josephine Daniels; and boyfriend Coden Hibler.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Leslie Lucas, and paternal grandfather Robert E Daniels.

A celebration of life is set for Saturday, July 1 at Dixie Chopper Business Center, Greencastle. The family will begin receiving friends at 5:30 p.m. with a short service at 6:30 p.m.

A dinner will follow the service for family and friends to celebrate her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family at the service.

Lexi's wishes were to be cremated and her ashes to be spread with pink glitter.
