GHS cross country seeks new talent

Tuesday, July 4, 2017

Greencastle High School cross country is looking for new talent, and any interested Tiger Cubs are encouraged to attend conditioning this month..

This week is the IHSAA’s annual moratorium week with no activities allowed, but conditioning resumes on Monday and will be from 8-9 a.m. daily at the DePauw Nature Park.

The Tiger Cubs are coming off a strong season last fall in which the girls won the Putnam County and Western Indiana Conference titles, and qualified as a team for the IHSAA regional -- coming three points short of advancing to the semistate.

The boys’ team was runnerup in the county meet last fall, and qualified as a team to the IHSAA regional.
