Lou Ann Fields

Lou Ann Fields, 77, of Brazil, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

She was born Feb. 8, 1940 in Putnam County to the late Kenneth and Merle (Tabor) Sinclair.

Lou Ann was a 1958 graduate of Belle Union High School, graduating as class salutatorian.

Following high school, she continued her studies at Indiana State University, graduating in 1962 with her teaching degree. After that, she went on to receive her master's in elementary education in 1968.

She taught at Cloverdale Elementary School and Eminence Elementary School, retiring in 2000.

Lou Ann was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Fillmore.

Lou Ann was married to Gerald Lee Fields for 15 years before his passing in 1979.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Mulvihill and husband Chris; grandsons Brandon (Megan) Winn and Kyle (Haleigh) Winn; and great-grandsons

Brendon and Branson.

Funeral services for Lou Ann will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 7 at the funeral home.
